The Patagonia Kid’s R1 Air Crew is a lightweight technical fleece built for active layering on the ski hill, winter adventures and everyday wear. Made from 100% recycled polyester jacquard fleece, its hollow-core yarns and distinctive zigzag texture wick moisture, dry quickly and provide excellent breathability during high-output activities.
The regular fit layers comfortably beneath ski and snow outerwear, while offset shoulder seams reduce bulk under backpack straps. Underarm panels and Y-Joint sleeves improve mobility and help prevent the crew from riding up during active play.
Thumb holes provide extra hand coverage and keep sleeves securely positioned, while a zippered contrast chest pocket stores small essentials. Finished with low-profile binding and a slight drop-tail hem, the R1 Air Crew is a versatile technical layer for skiing, hiking and cold-weather adventures around Whistler.

RETURNS
If the item you've ordered isn't what you expected, doesn't fit, or you've just changed your mind, contact Emily at emily@mountainkids.ca and we'll get you sorted with a return shipping label and further instructions on how to complete the return. We are happy to offer preferred bulk rates through our carriers. The cost of return shipping will be confirmed before the shipping label is generated and the refund amount will be reduced to account for this cost.
Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a gift card or an exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and must have the tags attached.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received, inspected, and determined to meet the conditions above, will process a refund to the payment method used to place the order.
Please note:
- The cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from the final refund. This amount will be confirmed with you before we issue the return shipping label.
- Shipping charges on your original order are not refundable.

The best way to make an exchange is to return the unwanted goods for a full refund and place a new order for the goods you'd like instead.
